Loretta Kayler
Loretta L. Branum Kayler, 85, of Rossville, GA, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She had attended Trinity Baptist Church in California and was in their prayer group. She was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Carl and Pauline Branum; brothers, Roland “Shorty” Branum, Nolan “Pap” Branum, Thomas Branum, and Charles Branum; infant son, James Carl Kayler; daughter, Wanda Lemming; and grandson, Steven Marquez.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Barbara) Kayler of South Carolina, and Marty Kayler of Sacremento, CA; daughters, Patsy Kayler of Greenville, TN, Brenda Sue Goldstein of Sacremento, CA, Sandi (Allen) Knight of Rossville, GA, and Jeanie (Nathan) Watson of Pikeville, TN; sister, Gloria Jean (Harold) Ivey; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 28, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wilburn Hardyman officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include Nolan Branum, Allen Branum, Larry Branum, Brain Kayler, Dennis Branum, and Robbie Branum. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 27, at the funeral home. The family expresses thanks to ICU Nursing staff at Parkridge East Hospital, and special thanks to Julie and Wes of Hospice.
